  1. It worked!! I think the EHR Tutor appeared in my "Apply" tabs after entering in the access codes. Thank you so much! :')
  2. Yep! I've purchased them through the bookstore and got the ATI paper. I've tried both of the access codes and none of them work. ?
  3. Does anyone know who I have to reach out to if my access code for the EHR tutor is "no longer valid", even though I just purchased it 3 days ago?
  4. Has anybody ordered their drug test yet? Or would it be better to wait until August 1st?
  5. Gotcha! Thank you for letting us know! ?
  6. Has anyone reached about the Fall 2021 ACC student handbook? I think this is the only requirement left that I have to submit to Castlebranch (asides from the drug test), but the handbook website just says "coming soon" when I click on the link. I definitely didn't want to bother my advisor in case they were getting a lot of emails regarding this, so I figured I'd ask here. ?
  7. Does anyone have advice over working part time vs full time during nursing school? I would like to keep my current full-time job (it's super flexible and we're able to work remotely) since I need income and a way to pay tuition, but I also don't want to sacrifice my mental/physical health LOL. Anybody have any insight or have done this before?
  8. I also got accepted! I'm going to celebrate with my dog tonight and have a huge bottle of celebratory wine. Congratulations to everyone else that has also been accepted! :') Cindy sent out a corrected link. Check the bottom of the email.
  9. Just got my rank! Second time applicant and I'm at a 39.48!
  10. My last name starts with an N and I haven't gotten my ranking yet! I'm guessing we're probably going to get ours on Monday.
  11. For reapplicants, do we have to submit our blue card clearance again? Or if we had already submitted in the first time we applied, are we cleared? I was a little confused over that process and got a second blue card in the mail a little while ago.
  12. Is anyone here a re-applicant? Do y'all know if we just have to upload JUST the one page re-application form?
  13. Hi y'all, I'm just jumping on here because I'm assuming I didn't make it in the first round. I was a new applicant for Spring 2021 and I had a rank of 31 points. I'm guessing the cut-off is around 34 points (though not 100% confirm since they could possibly still send out a second round of acceptance letters at any point in time), but it's definitely getting extremely competitive. Especially, considering that 34 points is the maximum amount of points that new applicants can have. I'm still feeling really disappointed and sad, but I'm sending out good thoughts and *virtual* hugs for those who didn't make it in that round either and those who are first time applicants!
  14. They sent them out today, but I'm assuming they stopped sending them out since it's past 5. There might be a second round of acceptance depending on people who defer, fail their drug test, etc. So, hang tight!
  15. I don't think it's happening for me either. Congrats to everyone who got in!
  16. I've also talked to an advisor at Concordia in the past about the ABSN program. There's no way I can justify being around 64K in debt for a BSN. I don't think it's worth it to be in that much debt and then the stress of having to pay it off for years is daunting. There's also a whole lot of other ABSN programs out there that aren't that expensive and probably worth looking into, though I understand that Austin's nursing programs are very limited. I think going to ACC is a great choice because it's so much cheaper and you can always bridge to RN-to-BSN for a good price too. Some hospitals will even give you a tuition reimbursement for getting your BSN, which is even better.
  17. I feel like these rankings have been kind of a mess LOL. They put down the wrong grade for my micro class, so make sure to double check your grades!
  18. If you're a re-applicant for this round, I think you'll still get your 5 extra points added onto your score. So if you have a 26, your possible rank would be 26 + 5 = 31. It's unclear what the cut-offs will be for this round. I have a feeling it's probably going to be pretty high due to the number of re-applicants and also just how competitive it's getting. I'm sort of stressed since it's just a waiting game at this point, but still trying to keep as positive as I can LOL.
  19. Aw darn. If that happened with the last application period, then I guess the delayed ranking and acceptance/denial letters are to be expected considering they have to go through 500 applicantions. ? This is a really nerve-wracking time for everyone, but hang tight! We'll get our letters at some point.
  20. I have a feeling we won't get an email until next week or they might even push it back to the week after that. ?
  21. Did it go well? I have my check offs tomorrow and I'm feeling super nervous about it.
  22. We have to have our TBON clearances submitted by November 13th! Keep in mind, the blue card might take up to 2.5 weeks for you to get it in the mail, so definitely don't put it off until the last minute. That's what happened with me at least. ?
  23. Oh absolutely 100%. I'm definitely trying to stay positive, but ngl reading that email definitely made me nervous. It's crazy to me that there were so many applicants that they couldn't offer RNSG to everyone who applied. ? Fingers crossed that we get in, but hopefully it's not the end of the world if we don't.
  24. Hey y'all! I'm super excited and nervous to start the nursing skills course! Would you guys recommend buying or renting the Fundamentals of Nursing textbook? I'm not sure if we'll be using this book only for the nursing skills course or if it'll be used throughout the nursing program. ? I would definitely love to save some money, but will totally buy it if it's used throughout the nursing program!
