Oh, I am lol I've been studying and reviewing all of the study guide but it is a lot of information. Going to study some more tonight and then have my husband quiz me tomorrow.
I believe the reason they have us watch the video on clinicals right away is because if you get a preceptor that is not clinically affiliated, you will need to submit that paperwork as soon as you can. A friend of mine graduated from here and said th...

I agree with what others have said. Every unit has stress. I started in NICU as a new grad. I had a 12 week orientation but it was not nearly enough. My preceptor was great but many days we were so busy, we ended up just splitting the assignment (...
I also thought it was nuts we needed to submit our parent's taxes. I understand if you're under a certain age but I'm 34. I sent it all in as I support my family of 5. Hope I get a little something!
I got my schedule via email from Eric but it was just the normal track for PNP. Have you guys looked at the booklist for NUR 607? Am I seeing that correctly in that they have 6 required books? That seems like a lot for one class. Plus, books for Path...

I received my schedule via email a couple of days before registration opened. It said in the email that they are still working on sending out schedules to everyone.
No, you don't need to mail in the materials you uploaded to certified. Look at the acceptance packet and it will tell you what you need to mail in. There's a few pages that have to be notarized so make sure to check that.
Thanks RN543! It looks like my main preceptor is already with an affliated hospital. I want to do the 100 hrs in a specialty that my friend told me we're allowed to do and it looks like I'll need to submit the application for that. I'm not necessari...
Yep, I got all my stuff too. I think I'm going to send them an email asking about getting preceptors approved. I have all mine set up, just need to get them approved which I heard can be a lengthy process. I will let you all know what I hear.

Mindy, I wondered the same thing as I had completed it all and couldn't view my award letter. I contacted the Financial Aid office and they said they can't release the information until the College of Nursing submits the list of accepted students. Ma...
I have my JAG number but I can't view my award letter so I emailed financial aid and they said it's because the College of Nursing hasn't submitted the names of accepted students yet. Maybe they wait to see who mails in the completed acceptance packe...
Hey guys and gals, To the individual asking about the site- I have had trouble with it being down now and then but managed to get everything in. The only hiccup I had was that the number it listed to verify my employment was actually a woman's person...
My GPA is a 3.5 cum and 3.5 for Nursing but I have 7 years of experience, all in Pediatrics. I think they look at experience as well as GPA. Now to get started gathering up all the necessary items to admit to the school! I'm in Pensacola as well!
I hope we both make it in! I really need this as pay is abysmal in my area for nurses. Hoping to move after graduation with an advanced degree. I have 5 of my classmates from BSN school that graduated from USA and are working as NP's now, though only...

That's ok :) I was genuinely interested in the subject but maybe my first post came off wrong. I did find this though http://lungcancer.about.com/od/causesoflungcance1/f/marijuana.htm which states that subsequent studies did show a link between smoki...
