I am applying to Blinn's ADN program for the Fall 2020 semester! I want to create this thread to see who else is applying with me! I am super nervous but also excited! T-minus 2 months until acceptance letters go out!

I’m sure the difficulty level is different for everyone, but I didn’t think they were that bad! I even made a 100 on 2 of them!

They are not. With the class being online and not proctored, it’s on an honor system! All tests had a chapter quiz before hand though (not graded) that gave you idea of what was going to be on the tests! The tests and final were the only things grade...

There are 10 chapter (with videos if you are not a reader) you have to go over and then a test for each chapter. The tests include multiple choice, T/F, and short answer questions. Then a final at the end of the course. I had to get a official trans...

As soon as you pay, the class opens! It’s a self paced course, which is great! They assign you an instructor (I never even talked to mine) that grades your work! I took 3 weeks to complete mine, but you can take longer if you need! Like I said, it’s ...

They only sent us one thing to fill out and send back for now - either to accept their offer to the program or to decline. I'm sure if they have people decline, they will start pulling people. If they take up to 20 people, you still have a chance!!

Okay, I apologize. I have no idea where April 5th came from. I'm replying off my work computer and it's stupid sometimes.. The deadline to have everything turned in after being accepted is April 24th.

You may ask about retaking classes! I know some programs only count a retake course grade in your GPA if the first grade was lower than a C...

I know it's disappointing! If you don't get selected from the alternate list, I would definitely look into that Patho class (bonus point, can't go wrong) and maybe study super hard for the TEAS and try making an A!

When y'all emailed about being on the alternate list, did either of you find out what the lowest and average scores taken were? I'm curious ... AND knowing that could help y'all improve your next application if you don't get in to the Spring 2021 sem...

Due to Blinn campus closing because of CVOid-19, I'm really hoping the nursing school doesn't push the "know before April 1st" to a later date.
