Hey friends! I was just accepted to the Spring 2021 class and wanted to know if there is anything I should be refreshing myself on before I start? Just something to help keep me busy until January ? Thanks!

@NurseLifeKP when it was in person, it was just one day. It was the whole day, from my understanding.

@Ad0219 Yes, my email was time stamped 5:17. Alternates started receiving emails around 3:30.

@awind you’re absolutely right; however, some people work full time jobs & will need to take that day off. Unfortunately, if you don’t attend orientation, you lose your spot.

@Ms.AFutureNurse same here! If orientation is indeed July 13th, they need to notify us soon. That’s less than 4 weeks from now.

@laurenmarchand the deadline was August 15 & notifications went out on October 2nd. The cut off GPA was 3.54; @rrodriguez212 was an alternate & can probably give better insight to the alternates GPAs.

My guess is it won’t be today if no one has heard by now. For Spring 2020, the alternates started getting emails around 3:15.

@Eboni Washington I think it's because you didn't take MAC1105, but took a higher credit. I think because it's done by the computer, it just flags it as missing. That's probably why the waiting period is so long because they have to check all of that...

Oh, me too! I was the same way in the Spring ? I keep checking the calendar and counting down the days! Fingers crossed for all of us ?

Yeah, you're welcome! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for all of us. I know last year the Fall applicants were notified on June 17th, so that gives us a rough estimate of when we should hear. It look much longer for the Spring, but there is more time....

@chrisjamal1No, mine hasn't changed. Someone else commented last week about that same thing. I'm not sure if it means anything. The same thing was speculated about for the Spring 2020 admissions class and it ended up not meaning anything for us then.

Last semester was 3.57. I only know that because I got accepted into the Spring 2020, but had to defer.
