California ATT
Update: finally got approved! It looks like approval is 8 weeks on the dot of when they open your latest document if they did not have/opened all your documents by the time they initially review your application. They said they could review it earlier but it seems pretty unlikely given how backed up they are.

My application was reviewed 1/04 and stated I was missing my nursing transcript/courses. I believe they ended up opening my nursing transcript a few days later as I got an email it was received by the company that sent it (even though the company sent it in December LOL). They were able to verify my missing courses but told me it takes them 8 weeks to process my nursing transcript. I called again last week and they told me I should get my approval at the end of this month/march. Pretty frustrating that it takes this long but hopefully I get it soon!

UC Davis Nurse Residency Program - Spring 2022
I had a time sensitive offer from another hospital, so I ended up emailing both to see where they were in the hiring process. The director responded promptly. I believe if the director is open to questions it is okay to reach out to them directly to know where they are in the hiring process.

I haven't done a peer interview but have asked about one when I saw it during my immersion. From my understanding, it's for you to learn more about the culture of the unit from an inside perspective & to see if you fit in to their culture/would get along with your coworkers. There may be behavioral questions related to teamwork/communication.

Has anyone gotten their ATT yet? My application hasn’t been updated since 1/4 even though they received everything already!

Thanks your update! Has anyone contacted HR or a unit director for an update from any units they interviewed for? I'm wondering which one is more appropriate.

Has anyone heard from any ICU units? I’m wondering if they have already started interviewing/hiring. Also, I’m wondering since they could continue hiring until April if people might receive an interview for a unit they’re more interested in even though they already have/accepted an offer for another unit ??

UC Davis Nurse Residency Program - Spring 2022
Some departments are doing waves of interviews/hiring to fill their spot! The department I interviewed with is on their second wave of hiring, so I wouldn't lose hope yet to those that haven't heard back. The process could all the way until April since their second start date is in May. Kind of unfortunate to those of us that are also looking into other programs but may not hear back in time from Davis.

Has anyone else received a call to join a professional nursing organization to UC Davis in order to meet criteria for an interview?

I am in the same boat! I'm confused because the person on the phone went through my transcript to ensure I met the course requirements that I was missing the first time they went through it (they said I was missing courses that was on the transcripts they received), so didn't she check everything when she was on the phone with me? ?Not sure what else they need to process.

I graduated in December and am currently waiting to receive mine. They had an issue with my transcripts (saying I am missing courses), but I called and it was sorted out. However, they said it would still take up to 8 weeks to process even though they have everything(??), so I'm still waiting for my ATT ? I would recommend calling right at 8 AM to get on the queue. Otherwise, they are impossible to reach.

Was that a different application or did you specify? Also, did anyone hear from any ICU units yet?

UCI Clinical Nurse 1 2021
Hello, I applied for some positions that were posted Nov/Dec. How long did it take to hear back or have a status change? My application still reads received. I'm wondering if it's because I don't have my license and don't qualify (?) as I graduate this month. Was anyone able to secure a job/interview before receiving their CA license? Thanks!

From past threads, it seems that most people's statuses changed later, so I wouldn't be too disheartened! It seems they started reviewing slightly earlier this year. I did read that they are really strict on the formatting of the application, so as long as you followed all the instructions on how to submit everything. I haven't heard anything after my status change. From my understanding, they make sure your application has everything before they send it off to different units (usually the one you precepted in). It could take weeks before the unit reviews it and decides to interview you (6 weeks prior to start date).

I think they're most likely going through candidates from when they submitted it. My status just changed and I submitted it on 11/5 for those that are waiting! That's what I'm hoping LOL!!

Sutter Health New Grad Sacramento 2021
Hi! I just applied to some of the recently posted new grad positions in November. May I ask how your interview went? Also did you attach references in your application? I saw it was suggested as an example when you're attaching documents, but I'm not sure if it's required.

UCSD New Grad Residency Jan/Feb 2022
I applied last minute but not sure if I'm even applicable for the position. I graduate in December, so I don't think I would have my license by their desired start dates, but I just thought I'd apply just in case. I believe the job status says "open" indicating they didn't hire anyone yet. My application is still under "received." Also, I just had a question in general for their application. How in depth did you go into their questions I.e. why nursing? I only wrote a couple of sentences but am wondering if I should go more in depth moving forward with future applications!

Ohh that's good to know! I've emailed them but they never responded and the few times I called the line was busy. I submitted my application about 2 weeks ago, but I didn't pay the fee yet (so I guess I'm not in the queue which is good). Do you think now would be a good time to submit if I'm graduating mid-December?
