  1. NAU ABSN 2019

I had a Littman lightweight and I decided to upgrade to the cardiology. With the classic I might not have made the same decision but I’m so happy I did! I agree with @ACAZ92. The cardiology isn’t necessary but it’s super nice! Littman really is the b...
  2. NAU ABSN 2019

@elisa0108 for capstone yes absolutely. Otherwise, it’s pretty much all in Flagstaff except for one of the fall groups typically goes to Kingman. I did all my clinicals at the hospital in Flagstaff (FMC) and I had a great experience!

@Cpt ATP Okay so I'm not 100% sure what you are asking, but I'll do the best I can to answer. ? From fall until the first half of spring, everyone rotates through the same clinical courses. Fundamentals of nursing and mental health are in summer; me...

Honestly, not that I can think of. I feel like it made more sense to me to review material as we went. The med surg/critical care book does a really nice job of reviewing relevant anatomy and physiology of each system before describing the pathology ...
  7. NAU ABSN 2019

I feel like I should clarify my previous comment - the NAU departments themselves are wonderful to work with. I've never had a bad experience with them. It just seems like there could be more inter-departmental communication. I hope that makes more s...
  8. NAU ABSN 2019

Hi and congratulations!! The program as a whole is very fast-paced (although that shouldn't be a surprise, haha!). We had typically lecture two days a week and clinical two different days of the week. The faculty does what I think is a really good jo...

  10. NAU ABSN 2019

Hi everyone! I’m also a current student in this program. Happy to answer any questions y’all have. As for how WUE works, I do have an answer for how it worked this year. Although I’m an in state student, from a classmate who is a WUE student - NAU do...
