Mine said “In offer process” the night before I got the offer!

Children’s MH called me before they sent the email with the offer!! I interviewed for the PIMU! Interviewed Monday and got the call Wednesday morning ?

Hey guys! Has anybody already had their prescreening for Methodist OR? I'm nervous and kind of confused about the "prescreening" description of it, should we be like expecting regular interview questions?

I have a BS in public health that I got done in 3 years, finished with a 3.85 GPA, 3 years clinical work experience while being a full time student, a 94 on the HESI and I was waitlisted as well ? Luckily I was accepted to TWU, so I’m not too upset about it. It does really make me upset how they can choose people so randomly though. I never got a transcript evaluation either. ?

Is the portal not letting anyone else in or is it just me? I know a few people had issues with the “id/password invalid” message popping up a while ago, but mine didn’t back then. It is now though. Maybe too much traffic? Or should I be contacting someone about this? ?

I submitted my application end of January so I’m a little upset that I haven’t received it ?? My last name starts with a D, First name A so I dont think they’re doing it alphabetically

Hi! I didn’t apply to utmb but Ive used nursingcas before and they make it sound pretty crucial that that form is attached. I think nursingcas uses the forms to verify your transcripts, and that needs to be done in order for your application to be complete. I think your best bet is to call them ?

From previous forums I’ve read, it looks like they did it around April 20th, but some people never received them ??‍♀️ They seem to be kinda weird about them I think. Someone should call and make sure ?

Hi! I’m so sorry, but the reading section was the ONLY section I didn’t practice or study for ? I did take that section first, and I think that might have helped. I didn’t want to over think it because I heard that the answers were straightforward. I watched a lot of videos on people’s HESI experience on Youtube and that helped ease my mind a bit. In those videos, I remembered somebody saying that the reading section isn’t really trying to get you to use outside knowledge and you really have to focus one what the passage is saying. I would say practicing is almost always great, but try not to burn yourself out on the reading section when your exam date is nearing. I remember being worried about the time, but I finished in like 2.5 hours. I’m sorry if this wasn’t that helpful ? Good luck!! Wish you the best!! ?

For Fall 2018 it seems like the Avg TEAS Score: 83% Avg cumulative GPA: 3.54 Avg math/science GPA: 3.64 so I think you have a good chance! I'm assuming they wouldn't make us write an essay if they weren't going to consider it, and I know their process is very holistic! Don't worry! ☺️

I started reading through old forums and I feel like the dates all differ so much ? Ive heard April 15, May 31, June 2 ? ? I’m not looking forward to the stress on those days. Your stats look good! I heard UTH is so random with their choices and that it’s really hard to know your chances ?

Im applying for TWU too! I went on a tour at UTMB and I wasnt a fan of the atmosphere ? I was disappointed because I thought I would love it there! Your stats look great Im sure you’ll do fantastic on the HESI! Good luck ☺️

Yes it got there on the day of the deadline!! ? I was told by another program that I had until February 8th for them to accept it, but I’m not too sure about UTHSCSA.

Update: My transcript was finally received by NursingCAS! (day of the deadline wowie) For anyone who is curious, though, I emailed the (Houston) advisor and she responded with "Hopefully, your transcripts arrive before or on February 1" which got me even MORE worried, because I felt like that meant I was doomed, so I sent another email and she responded with "You want to make sure that everything is turned in, including transcript by the application deadline" that still had me a bit confused because I wasn't sure if "turned in" meant sent in or received, so I responded AGAIN (I'm sure at this point she was sick of me), but she finally emailed back saying "You have until February 8th for transcripts to be upload on your NursingCAS application." But I guess I worried about that bit for nothing because I got in in by the 1st. ? Happy waiting y'all!
