UTH Applicants Fall 2019

I'm excited to be applying to the Cizik School of Nursing at UTH! I'm not sure why I cant find another thread for us, but that's why I'm making one! Curious to know anyone's scores, GPAs and other schools you might be applying to. I'm also really nervous and I feel like talking about the application process is easier when you have other people to talk to.

My stats:

Graduating with a BS in Health

GPA 3.812 (probably going up this sem)

HESI overall 94

Reading 96.67

Grammar 100

Math 94

A&P 84

Does anybody know the stats for the Fall 2018 and Spring 2019 applicants? And I know the website says acceptance goes out around June 15th but does anyone know if there is some sort of early acceptance? Waiting that long is going to kill me lol ? Good luck everyone!

Hi! I'm applying for UT Health during the fall too. My GPA is around a 3.8 for both pre-reqs and science and it's my last semester too. I'm taking the HESI this weekend , but your stats look really good though!

I'm not sure the stats of fall and spring but i'll look more into it. I'm also applying for TWU and UTMB.

I have applied too! For the Fall semester I read they will start notifying people April 15 or earlier via email and mail. Apps are due March 15 for the Fall semester. My overall HESI was 90.8% GPA about 3.3 (will go up once I finished the rest of my 7 classes. My friend started Jan 2019, she loves it so far.

Im applying for TWU too! I went on a tour at UTMB and I wasnt a fan of the atmosphere ? I was disappointed because I thought I would love it there! Your stats look great Im sure you’ll do fantastic on the HESI! Good luck ☺️

I started reading through old forums and I feel like the dates all differ so much ? Ive heard April 15, May 31, June 2 ? ? I’m not looking forward to the stress on those days. Your stats look good! I heard UTH is so random with their choices and that it’s really hard to know your chances ?

I will also be applying for TWU for the Spring 2020 semester and also Wharton Sugarland. I prefer to get my BSN but I will apply just in case, that way I don't waste time waiting to get into school. I love UT everything about it, except being in med center ?. But that is def. my top choice!

I have seen that they are random with choices. Never mind you are right I read it wrong it is June 15 and it IS a very long time to wait. ?

Hi there!

I also applied for the Fall 2019 semester. I took my Hesi this past Friday and I'm so relieved it's over!

Hesi scores: 94.8% Composite

Reading Comprehension: 94

Grammar: 100

Vocabulary: 98

Math: 94

A&P: 88

I was hoping to stay in the 90s for all sections but I'm okay with these scores. Hopefully, it'll be good enough to get an acceptance. We shall see! Good luck to us!

Hey there! Most of us are still on the Summer 2019 thread waiting to hear back before we start with Fall 2019. Can you put “pacesetter” in the title? People might be able to find the post easier. I also think they’re usually in the “School/College Programs” category. Just be on the lookout in case someone starts a different thread!

Hey everyone! I received my denial for the Summer session yesterday :( So i'm joining all the hopefuls here! My BEST advice, don't drive yourself crazy trying to figure out what stats they pick for acceptances, because it truly is all over the place. Just do your best and what is meant to be will be!
