UTH Applicants Fall 2019

I'm excited to be applying to the Cizik School of Nursing at UTH! I'm not sure why I cant find another thread for us, but that's why I'm making one! Curious to know anyone's scores, GPAs and other schools you might be applying to. I'm also really nervous and I feel like talking about the application process is easier when you have other people to talk to.

My stats:

Graduating with a BS in Health

GPA 3.812 (probably going up this sem)

HESI overall 94

Reading 96.67

Grammar 100

Math 94

A&P 84

Does anybody know the stats for the Fall 2018 and Spring 2019 applicants? And I know the website says acceptance goes out around June 15th but does anyone know if there is some sort of early acceptance? Waiting that long is going to kill me lol ? Good luck everyone!

Any college level course not required by them as a prerequisite already. So I did speech and I already had general bio. I had a hard time figuring it out also.

Thank you for your response. The college level code is started with 1XXX or 2XXX? Any kinds or have to be nursing courses? I have organic chemistry and calculus. Are they counted as electives?

One more question is that we need to complete all the prerequisite courses before the accepted semester starts? Thank you.

I think you should be good with those classes, but for certainty you can email or call the school.

Yes, ALL prerequisites MUST be finished before August, when school starts.

Just received my acceptance letter! Not sure what to do because I already accepted the offer from HBU. I have to work while in school so I'm not sure if UTH is a good fit for me.

It's what you make of it! Some people are disciplined enough to be able to do both. It's totally up to you and what you believe you can handle! I know UTH strongly discourages working but only you can decide what you can handle! Best of luck in your future endeavors!

Especially if you already accepted the offer, I’d probably go with HBU. I think their curriculum isn’t as condensed.
