So I do not think there has been a forum made yet for the FAU FNP program starting in August 2019. Other programs starting then welcome as well. The applications are officially open so I was hoping for some discourse on the application/interviews/etc...

We do not really know clinical info yet since we do not have clinicals the first year. the first 2 semesters are basically 100% online if i remember right.

I got my acceptance info packet. I'm glad they gave this to us early because theres plenty of minor things to do. immunization records, residency form, setting up faunet. easy but time consuming.

When people start getting more info, yall should post about it here. I wonder how long until we get the mailed packet with more info.

To clarify, in the info session, they made it sound like preceptors would be assigned without your address as a factor. so a person south of boca could have a spot in wellington and a wellington student could be going south of boca.

The clinical sites are allowed to be in your area then? When I found out FAU no longer makes us find our own preceptors, I was pretty relieved BUT the fact that it could be over an hour away from me makes me nervous. I wish we could at least request ...

There are three possible outcomes: (1) admitted; (2) conditionally admitted; or (3) denied admission. we should all be conditional because we need the background check first.

I just got an email related to it and it says it would change to denied admission if that was the case. so until you see that, hang in there!

I'm glad the college of nursing likely doesnt send humor emails. Monday being April fools day and the day we expect to start seeing emails could have been brutal haha

Are interviews all done now? Now they can start really choosing everyone April isnt so far now. Another week and we might start getting emails according to what theyve told us. Maybe they will surprise us with early notifications but I wont count on...
