I'm starting classes this Fall for pre-requisites and plan to apply for the Fall 2019 evening/weekend RN program. How competitive is CSCC's nursing program? I know someone who went through it and wasn't waitlisted at all, but he's also male and I've heard men tend to not get waitlisted when it comes to nursing. I've read some stuff on here about the waitlist being horrible but every thread I've found is 5-15 years old and a lot of things can change in that time. Right now I'm working as a certified medical assistant in a higher-than-average paying job that I hate. I decided to finally go through with getting my RN and don't want to be stuck waiting for 2+ years on a waitlist. Thanks in advance for any insights from current students!
