  5. @Lucy0223 @jake1989 @jason123 I haven’t heard anything either. I thought they were going to possibly do another round of interviews. Some of my colleagues who applied never got the opportunity to interview. Now I feel bad.
  6. @Lucy0223 Thank you so much. You were awesome! I think our group are all strong contenders.
  7. @Lucy0223 I think everyone in our interview group did so good. I was actually at the end of my shift and had a crazy day. Happy I was able to get through the interview and essay. Wishing you and all the others in our group the best of luck. I felt like I could see all of us in class working on a project LOL, by the way I was Annmarie the one who works at NYP.
  8. @lucy0223 OK great. See you there, I'm a bit nervous especially since I have to do this from work.

  11. Hi, has anyone applied and got accepted to Molloy College in NY Psych NP program? If so, how long does it take to know if you are accepted in the program. Thank you
  12. Hey myRN85, congrats to you also. I work in one of the ambulatory clinics (substance abuse & psych) I love it M-F 7-3 and no weekends because I started as an LPD and took the pharm exam when I was first hired I was wave from taking it by nursing education. I'm so happy from what I understand the pharm exam has changed since I took it 6 years ago I'm sure you will do fine remember we passed the boards. I hope your experience with HR was better than mine smh. I just checked my people soft at work and I saw the salary change will start on Sunday.
  13. Hi, currently work at NYP Cornell as an LPN but not for long I'm now an RN and will be in the orientation next week. I have an ADN but bid have to sign a contract that I will complete my BSN in 2 years which I have already started. I got the upgrade because the clinic I work in is so specialized and I have been there for 6 years. You must have a BSN to be considered. It took almost 5 months for this upgrade with all the red tape and as I said I've been working here for 6 years but saying all of that it is a really great place to work. The opportunities are endless, great benefits and tuition reimbursement is $12,000 per year for nursing, and starting salary is 78,153 base pay not including night diff. I wish everyone good luck.
  14. This is the base salary!!!!
  15. NYP/Cornell as of yesterday $78,153 new grad not including BSN
  16. To be honest my Prof. had the 5th ed. I used the 4th and it was fine.
  17. I used the NCLEX-RN Alternate-Formate Questions 5th ed. by Lippincott one of my Prof. recommended it....I aslo used Saunders review and did there questions from the disc, NCLEX 3500, LaCharity and used the qbank from NCSBN which was also very helpful....to be honest after awhile the question from all the sources were so similar, when I did the exam I felt like I was doing one of my qbanks and I felt so relaxed....
  18. I took mine today and my computer shut off at 75 questions....I did the PVT and got the good pop up. The day before my test I woke up early and did only alternate format question ex. sata, math, prioritization....then my boyfriend dragged me out the house and I spent the evening with some friends chicken wings and watching my NY Giants win the superbowl. I'm so happy I did that I was well relaxed for my exam this am....when taking the exam just read your questions twice before you look at the answers them answer the question. I'm sure you will do fine you got thru school right!!! just look at this as another test and relax :) believe it will come back to you....good luck
  19. Took the NCLEX -RN this morning at 8:00 am in NYC.....my computer shut off at 75 questions with the majority being SATA I also had a chart review question, 4 put in order and lots of prioritization...thank goodness for the LaCharity book and the alternate-format questions book by Lippincott:up:...well of course i did PVT and got the good pop up, I did it again 3 hrs later and there was that good pop up again :yeah:Thank you Helene Fuld College of Nursing for having me well prepared for this exam :) and to my co-worker Karen P. thank you so much for you support from the start to finish, I don't think I could have done it without you.....by they way today is my birthday and I Just gave myself the best present ever....
