I’m wondering the same. This is my second year. I obviously didn’t get an award. Mine are consolidated but they are federal. Seems like it is my downfall.

Then I’m screwed too. My loans are around the same but I consolidated mine few years back as well. Only ones that aren’t are my graduate ones. Guess that’s why I haven’t been chosen last year or this year yet. And I know there’s no way to un-consolid...

Don’t lose hope! In previous threads people had received 2 credit checks and were awarded! I honestly think if you got a 2nd one you’d be more likely to get it! I wish us all luck. Student loan debt is seriously horrible and really needs to be addres...

Sorry, my comment was confusing. I am sure the credit check was for the nurse corps LRP. I meant the person I responded to, they must not have applied for it but a different program, since they said they just submitted their application Tuesday.

So this isn't for the Nurse Corps loan then ... our applications were due back the end of March.

Same thing here, had to wait until September to find out I wasn't accepted. I wish we didn't have to wait as long ... it's torture.

I got a credit check too!!! Yay!! But this next process of being under review and waiting for that yay or nah is excruciating ... blah!

Yes it should be under the “hard inquiry” tab, they check your credit to determine debt to income ratio ... possibly for some other reasons such as verification.

Thanks for letting us know. I don't have any loans cosigned but do have consolidated loans and some of my loans aren't even nursing related so they wont be added. It seems so weird that most of us haven't received credit checks - besides the person w...

credco was the one i had last year too ... i still havent received any credit checks in regards to this and i am really worried about it =( and since you are the only one saying you received one, really really worried haha.

eek ... i am starting to get alarmed at how far out it seems to be with no credit checks yet!!

I have a lot of classes since I didn't go right into nursing school, I didn't get it last year but don't know if this was why or not. I hope not or I am screwed!
