Do you think that means anything in terms of receiving emails? I believe I have read that previous years had orientation on November 1st. I wonder if a later date means later decisions or if they are having difficulty meeting number of applicants.

I hope it is not that long...late October with November around the corner should make it hectic. If true, I can see why some move on to another program. One would only have a few weeks to meet all the other requirements.
