Is anybody applying to the DNP program at Johns Hopkins University for the Fall 2018 term? Has anybody heard anything? or how difficult is it to get in the program? average GPA?

Looking at the area of Hopkins is located seems scary and not a place where I personally would like to live in. I was also accepted into Duke which I will probably be going there rather than Hopkins. Great school but the area no.

Right now I am contemplating if I should go for my MSN-FNP and then pursue a doctorate while working as an FNP and be able to pay for a DNP program......I am also waiting in two other schools. One is a masters the other is a DNP as well.

Got a call today!!! Got in for the DNP FNP wit a certification in HIV primary care :)

Don't lose hope yet. I called yesterday and they said applications are still being reviewed and the admissions committee hasn't made their final decision.

Has anyone received anything from admissions yet?

Online it's says that for the November 1st applicants we will find out by late December. This is so nerve wrecking

My interview was last week and I have been beating myself up for it cause I feel like I could of done better but like you said it could been worse. I applied before November 1st.

Has anyone heard anything after their interview??? The waiting is killing me

I haven't heard anything yet :/ I called and they said they are still reviewing applications based on submition.

Congrats!!! And good luck :) let me know how he interview goes. My application was verified later than yours so maybe that's why. If they are looking at applicants by verification date.

For Columbia I am a bit worried cause of their video response...I never done one before. I am also applying for the FNP program. I still have not heard anything yet from Hopkins but someone told me that by the first week of the December and now they ...

I was considering Duke and Columbia. Do you know when they will call us for an interview?

I heard so too! I am hoping for the best. I am considering applying to other schools but I am not sure. Hopkins has the program and certificate that I want.
