  1. “CBC Nursing Class of 2022” Message me on facebook if it doesn’t come up and I’ll add you.
  2. It might be easier to search CBC nursing class of 2022 on facebook and then ask to join. Starting a club on allnurses is great option as well. Whatever Platform is easiest for everyone to communicate and collaborate on will work!
  3. Done. Send me a friend request and we can all communicate as a group and help each other out! Tamera Bell
  4. I’ve never done one either but let me see if I can get one started for us....
  5. OK, thank you! Does your class have a facebook group yet? This way everyone can stay in touch and ask any questions that come up.
  6. Hey everyone! I will be joining your cohort for clinical in Winter quarter. I’m curious if they said anything about what classes will look like during your virtual meeting on 6/8. TIA
  7. I got in!!! My index score was 26.692
  8. I haven’t got mine in the mail yet, but I am so nervous you guys. My index score is 26.6925... good luck everyone!
  9. @cbcstudentnurse01 That sounds great! Thank you!
  10. I just noticed-I used “AND” A LOT lol..
  11. @cbcstudentnurse01 how do you apply for the kadlec’s extern program? @falconersys Thank you so much for all your tips- I currently have an ipad pro and just started using it in my biochem class this quarter. I download the powerpoints into notability and take notes and record the lecture and it has literally changed my life in the paper world-I use way less and all my notes are backed up and in one spot! Hopefully I wont have problems using the programs in nursing school with it, if I get accepted. I will definitely be buying the Saunders comprehensive review for NCLEX- Ive heard its a must! Ahh..Soo excited!
  12. Oh my gosh...I cant wait!!!! Thanks falconersys for the tips and communication offer! Hopefully we will all see you at the orientation! Any tips on supplies you find helpful in the program ?...because Supplies are a girls bestfriend, of course !
  13. Oh my gosh I am super nervous. When I was checking my e-mail this morning I noticed 3 different replies from this page and my heart sank- I thought you all had your letters or something. Ahhh...I cannot wait, then I can start stressing about nursing school itself lol. Good Luck you guys!
  14. Oh my gosh now I’m really nervous... I really hope my 26.6 is good enough...AHHH the anticipation. So the cutoff last year wasn’t 26.4 if faconersys had 26.6 and was waitlisted. Well, I guess I’m just going to have to wait and see and pray like heck I get in! Good luck everyone!
  15. Thats a solid index, good job! Did you apply anywhere else? I’m really hoping my index will be enough to get in! I’m so ready to start the program!!!
  16. Hi, I’m applying with an index score of 26.692. I’m really nervous, my goal was a 27??. I know last year the cutoff was right around 26.4 so I’m just barely above it eek... what is your index score, if you don’t mind sharing?
  17. Congratulations!!!! Did you happen to do Nclex questions during your program? I've heard a lot of people say to do this and it can help emensley by the end of the program.
  18. kelseyjwilliams I;m just curious what your index score is, and any others you might no of. I will be applying in 2019, and wanted to see if I could get a general overview of what the scores are this time around. Thank you!
  19. What was the majority of the Teas on? I know it's acumaltive of all our pre-reqs, so study everything but I'm just curious what I should focus the majority of my studying on. Any tips?
  20. Let us know if you get in Taylor33
  21. What has been your biggest sacrifice while you've been in school, prereqs or nursing school? Is it the house doesnt get cleaned, kids dont go to the park as often, dinner is eating out, husband doesnt get much attention, you dont attend events with your family as much? Im just curious what others need to sacrifice in order for them to finish nursing school. Thanks
  22. Hi a little background of myself first! I'm returning back to school in January 2018 after taking 2 years off from my 2nd child being born. I currently have A&P1 & 2 and my teas test left then I can apply for the program!! I have two girls 9 1/2 and 2 1/2 along with my husband who is currently not working. I have always been the stay at home parent and have taken care of the home while my husband worked hard and provided for our family. (We recently relocated to be closer to my husbands family and my husband is in the process of changing careers but is still undecided what he wants to do. He wont be doing school.) So everyone is clear the family nearby cant help out too much but can help some, so I don't plan on relying on them for too much, my mother in law has some health issues and aunt and uncle still work full time. My question is how do you all balance school with family? I will only be taking 1 class per quarter so I can get back in the groove of things. I would like to use the next year to prepare my family and myself for when Im in school full time. What does your day to day schedule like in nursing school, pre-nursing school, with kids after school activities, excersise, dinner, studying, family time and cleaning the house? my husband will help take care of the house but he isnt the best at doing it everyday, and I cant function in a messy house so I will be helping with cleaning. Thank you for all your input! I know my life will be a little crazy until I can get a schedule down pat. Oh boy. Im in it for the long haul! :)
