I was offered a position on 5J as well but I have an interview with Burns tomorrow and I’m still hopeful for SICU. Did you just ask if you could wait til the other interviews because my letter say 24hrs

Yeah but it’ll be a while because if people decline they’ll just go to the next person for an interview. Also she said she’ll reach out to see if people interested may take med surg. Until you get a rejection anything is possible

To validate my experience as an Extern instead of having practicum. Also to see if they send out rejections to candidates that weren’t selected for interviews because I have offers from other facilities but Grady is my top choice.

I emailed the Grady recruiter email and she responded and it had her contact information at the bottom and the spot there it tells you to put how many practicum hours in critical care I said TBD but I’m an Extern in the ICU and she said I should have...

So I actually called the recruiter because I had another interview today and a standing off at another. So apparently I filled out my application wrong which caused her to move passed my application. That’s why I never received any of the other email...

I haven’t received anything. The only email I got was the initial one about the required hours. It’s nerve wrecking especially since I have another interview this Friday with another hospital.

Yes I am an Extern in an ICU and yes she is the one who emailed me back.

She told me that since I am an Extern that it validates my hour requirement. I used to work at Northside but at currently an Extern at Wellstar Douglas. I’m doing clinicals with Piedmont so I applied there.

Does that include specialty pay ? Or just standard without anything
