Alabama resident here, and there isn't an LPN program in the state that is 8 months. I don't think there is a program anywhere that is that short. you're just going to have to suck it up and do a program that has at least a years duration.

It sounds like it would be best if you went the ADN route, or maybe even LPN and bridge. You're most likely going to have to explore these avenues instead of going the more expensive route.

You have two avenues to pursue: you can either go accelerated or get your ADN first. There's no shortcut.

You've done a lot of tap dancing in order to get all of that out of the OP's post. What she said made no sense, no matter what angle you look at it. There's nothing to envy about being unwell. Period.

So what exactly is the problem? Many people do LPN first and then bridge.

You need to either look for programs with lower requirements but yet are credited or you need to switch majors. Also, have you determined why you made such low grades in those courses?
