I've seen some previous threads were it says that people were accepted up to the last week of school so...we'll have to wait and see.

Yeah. I read somewhere that someone else had a different date than January 30th. It was December 30th 2017. So it appears that not everyone has the same end of status date. I wonder around how many alternates they set aside.

That's also one of my options to but I figure it wouldn't hurt if I waited a lil more since that WCU $$ pill is a lot for me swallow. Good luck to you tho!!

Have any alternates heard any new information from PCC? Or does anyone know any new information regarding alternates that they'd like to share?

RebeccaRN90, maybe comparing the NCLEX pass rates of the two schools would help you with your decision. NCLEX pass rates give you an idea of how well a particular school prepares their students to pass the NCLEX .

I am also an alternate and I'm wondering how many alternates they usually place and their list. Trying to figure out our chances of actually getting in since we are advised not to call the office.

That's a reasonable possibility. That's the issue, I agree; no true info to go on.

And she or someone else also said that they haven't. The usually send those out simultaneously so more than likely the haven't sent out acceptance letters either. There are a few applicants that I know who hasn't heard anything.

They usually send letters to both accepted and denied applicants. The information is inaccurate, el Camino have not sent out either of those.

Did you send in your teas transcript immediately after they sent out the first letter? I did. I wonder if there will be a second teas date or are they making their final decisions. They usually sent out final decisions around the end of the semester....

Did u apply to other schools? They all seem to be heavily impacted this application season.

I totally understand from the look of things I don't think I'll be getting in this year.
