  2. the September deadline is for May 2018-DNP program... this post is talking about the January 2018-MSN class..
  3. Good luck! I was just accepted for the MSN class starting in January!
  4. Congratulations!!!! Even though I won't be attending at ECU with you... I'll be at western! Best of luck to us class of 2020!!!!!
  5. Yes... however someone in another forum said that they accepted at western but also interviewed at ECU and that's their first choice... so if they get in G ECU they will go there.... they won't know until the end of July so you may still get in at western.... keep your head up I'm sure this is a stressful time for you... I can't even imagine!
  6. I didn't interview I decided Asheville/WCU were more suitable for me... so I'll be attending WCU...
  7. Whatever the minimum requirement is enough... as for type CT surgery is looked at highly, however there are TONS accepted without CT expierence... just make sure you know your field like the back of your hand...
  8. Have you guys got the email that should tell us where to send the check to? I was so excited/driving home I don't remember who he said to send it to... I swear he said that an email would be sent out hah
  9. I did... I'm cancelling my interview at ECU
  10. will keep that in mind!
  11. just remember that you must have good nursing references as they are the ones who work directly beside you- a doctor usually only has limited interaction...
  12. How was the interview at western??! I interview Friday and I'm really nervous!
  13. Are you interviewing for western? CVICURN?
  14. I feel like if you're unsure if you can even ask your supervisor to write a reccomendation.... you probably shouldn't ask them... reccomendations hold a lot of weight... maybe ask someone else or if you feel like they'd write good reccomendations for you just tell them upfront that you're applying to multiple schools and ask if they can write reccomendations for each.
  15. If CRNA school is your end goal I wouldn't go to the NICU... I would just go straight to adults! I worked in PICU first, and even though I loved it and it provided me with a great opportunity... I could be half way done with school instead of JUST now applying! The choice is yours but I personally would want to get school out of the way!
  16. What to wear for the interview? I was just going to wear a black one suit with white top and small heels! What all did you guys wear?
  17. Hopefully you hear from Wake so you get to go to your top choice! However, if not hopefully we can both get into WCU!
  18. Email them and ask what you could to improve yourself for "next" time....
  19. Following.. let's be honest I don't have crap saved... but I have NO debt... sooo... I feel like it balances out I'm planning on taking out max loans/personal loans etc! I would love to hear people's take on it'
