I made a Facebook group for anyone in Cohort 2. Look under TCC Nursing Fall 2017 Cohort 2. Excited to meet everyone and congratulations to everyone who got in!!!
Ambres, Welcome to the wait!!!!! I don't know how many applied but I've heard as many as 400 before. It is very competitive. With your grades and Hesi score you definitely would get in.
Now that the weekend is over I'm getting extremely anxious for our letters to arrive. I'm really hoping my gpa was high enough at only a 3.57 and a Hesi of 84.....I keep doubting myself.
Losing my mind and hoping somehow a letter will magically appear early. I'm so nervous and anxious. Trying to stay positive and keep busy but that is turning out to be very hard to do. I keep wondering how many people applied and I don't remember how...
I was just coming on here to ask what anyone thought. I'm hoping they'll send them out on the 15th and maybe we'll get them Monday. Do they ever send them out earlier than the 15th? Im so nervous but trying to stay hopeful. I wonder how many applied.
I brought mine to the campus and the secretary had a nice big stack of applications on her desk. Just over a month and hopefully we'll all be getting our acceptance letters. I'm still a ball of nerves.
I applied for both. I'm fine with either... If I get in to the program I'm contemplating taking chemistry over the summer so I can apply to ODUs concurrent program.
That's still a great score and you have the grades! I dropped my application packet off today and it was the first time I'd been in the nursing building. It's really nice!!!! It's going to be a long 2 months.
Thank you!!!!! I keep telling myself I'll get in...hoping that positive energy pays off! Good Luck today with your Hesi! You'll do great!!! Take your time!
I'm just hoping it's high enough to get accepted! It's going to be a long 2 months. I was most worried about the chemistry section and i ended up with a 90 in it. Biology was all pretty basic. Math was also pretty basic. Lots of fractions.
Took my Hesi today. Not super thrilled with my score....I got an 84%. I did the A&P section first because I felt most comfortable with it.....that was the hardest section and the one I did the worst on. All the other sections were relatively easy...
