Are there any British nurses or for that matter any nationality that have a priority date further back than mine June 05

isnt that blackmail on the part of the company?? i wonder what the usa immigration service would think of that one??? you sign a contract start the process and then because you wont sign a revised contract which ties you to $45000 they put your application on hold???

advice= stay away from such an agency they are bad news

Thanks for the advice. If I'm not mistaken, you did sign yours english nurse, didn't you? I might sign it in the long run, I really don't know. Some more advice please......

i did, and if they hadnt had me over a barrel, saying things like, we wont help you any further with this process, and bear in mind at that point my husband didnt have his visa but i did, so they were effectively saying we wont help your husband, i wouldnt have signed it in a million years, especially as they have been rubbish since about doing what i request immigration wise

Hi Silverdragon. We have the same case. my first approval was Jan. 2005.Also the hospital didn't continue the petition and told us the facility will close. Then started again on Aug 2006 and I-140 approved last April 2007. Right now my agency asked me already to pay my visa fee.

Hi, just a question, isn't your agency paying for your VISA fee?

NVC automated msg changed today from awaiting bio detail to bio data recieved 2nd july now we have to wait 6-8 weeks for what not really sure.

Also with the revised July bulletin dont know wether any visa's are left for me, does anyone know when you get issued with visa numbers?

Hi bettyboop! I would just like to know when did u mail your updated DS230? My petitioner mailed mine last June 29, 2007. Called up NVC, Still the same message..we are awaiting the biographic forms from the petitioner. Hope to hear from you! Thanks!

gracie08 my case became current with june's bulletin my visa bill was paid Nov 2006 then retrogresion hit since the begining of june we have had the same msg awaiting biographical data and yesterday the msg changed biographical data received July 2nd. According to my agancy NVC automated msg takes a few days to change but not sure what to believe.

Lets just hope and pray good news for all of us soon.

i have been told that it is unlikely that i will get a visa until after the new ones are issued in October, i assume it will be the same for you as you are about at the same point hubby is

its not in the bag until you have your interview really, when retrogression happened in november last year people had their interviews cancelled so i assume until you actually get the visa, its not safe

bad news i know but then we are flaming used to that

have you spoken to ogp they might have some idea

Still waiting for OGP to ring. Not holding my breath. Anyway by the time 6-8 weeks up it will be almost Oct so usual waiting game.

the thing im concerned about for you is do they continue to process the ds230 when there are no visas?

well my NVC case message has changed to waiting to recieve DS230 forms from lawyer so can't decide if good news or not

Hey Anna thats good news i had that msg for 3 weeks and yesterday it finaly changed to bio forms or DS230 received 2nd july wait 6-8 weeks for response? so at least the NVC is carrying on with cases at the moment.
