Hello all!!!
Back to school after 10 years, and currently doing my prerequisites for nursing program. Question for you all. I plan on taking Anatomy and Physiology in the Spring together. Is that too much science class at once? Or should I space out those classes?

Hello!
Since many schools actually merge these two classes into A&P I and II, I would think that you'd be fine taking them together. However, I recommend that they be your only classes for that semester.

At my school, A&P 241 was required in order to take A&P 242. Both are part of the competitive scoring for my nursing program. In that situation I would be careful about overloading your schedule. You will want the highest grades you can get and need to really commit to these.

Congratulations on starting a new chapter. Because you have been out of school for 10 yrs and most nursing schools only want 4.0's with these classes, I highly recommend taking them separately unless you have stellar study skills ? It is possible. You not only want to thrive for high grades to become competitive, but more importantly understand the concepts because when you start nursing school, most professors do not review A&P. A&P is the "back bone" for understanding nursing exams. Also, check to see if your school has study skill workshops or tutoring sessions as well. Check out a library book on "how to study A&P" or check out a few youtube videos on "how to study A&P" Use all of your school resources and you should be fine ?

It depends. Are you working as well? Do you have enough time to study for both of these classes? Anatomy and Physiology both require a lot of work. I took both classes at the same time and ended up with a B in Anatomy and an A in Physiology. I was a full-time student and worked part time. I overestimated my ability to manage my time and was overwhelmed when midterms started.

If you are working FT, I would recommend only taking one at a time.
