I'm talking nearly 10 years ago!...do they count? Or does this vary from program to program?
I'm pretty sure my general ed type units still count, but I'm sort of doubting my Anatomy and Chemistry do (it'd sure be nice, though -- especially chemistry.....ugh!)
I have a call in to the counseling center of the college, but I thought I'd see what people's experience has been while I wait for them to call me back.
Thanks!

It depends upon your pgm. There are five nursing pgms in my general area, and only one of them had no time limit on pre-reqs. All the others had a five yr "expiration" date.
Funny--I never really understood why--are they worried about you forgetting all your stuff and not doing well in school?? My pre-reqs were over 8 yrs old, and I just finished nursing school with a 4.0.

I think it depends quite a bit on the school you are looking at. My mom-in-law went back to college and at the particular school she went to they accepted some of her stuff from over 30 years ago.
Good luck! :redbeathe

I have found that most schools require science pre-reqs (or at least A&P) to have been within the past 5-7 years.

Most schools require them taken within 5 years or they want you to re-take them

My school here in North Texas wants you to retake sciences if they are older than 5 years.

I have took all my sciences 9 yrs ago and have to repeat them again. A&P, Chemistry, Micro, and a special Psych class. My basic classes transferred.

Some of mine were almost 10 years old, and everything was fine. :) I think a lot of it depends on your program. . . . some are definitely more picky than others.
Thanks for the replies! Guess I'll cross my fingers that that the program to which I'll be applying will take them. I don't really mind repeating them, though.....well, except chemistry!
