Pre-Nursing students @ Wallace Community College in Selma Alabama

Published

Hello,

Just wondering if there's any nursing students that attend Wallace Community College in Selma, Alabama. Wanting to know what to expect. I'm finishing up my last prereq's this Summer 2015, and planning on applying to the Spring 2016 LPN since I will miss the Fall 2015 deadline. Already have taken my Teas test and made a 48 on in which the lady administering it said all I needed was a 45 to get into the LPN program and a 50 to get into the RN. My question to you is, what to expect while waiting on the acceptance letter, and how is the program the first semester. Also, how to shake my nerves now that I'm near doing my application for the program while waiting on the acceptance letter. Any advise would be appreciated.

Hey Shemika,

I am a Troy in Montgomery student but I took a few pre reqs at WCCS also! I have applied to both programs! I made a 73 on my Teas & have made A's in all my pre reqs! I live in Montgomery, it will be a 45 mins commute for me but I have heard nothing but good things about WCCS! Fingers crossed for both of us!

Yes, they are top in the state. I've completed everything and application is in. Just nervous, because everyone i started my prereq's out with either got in the lpn or rn and flunked out. This will be a long 3 months waiting for the acceptance letter.
