hey, i live in CT and also asked the exact same question as you weeks ago. Well, for the school i hope to get into, they require i take the nurse entrance exam before even applying to the school. At the moment, I am waiting for my ERI study guide to come in the mail so i can begin studing to take the exam sometime soon! good luck!

The NET only has reading and math.
The math section is basic, and easy to most. (addition, subtraction, fractions, percentages, ratios, and basic algebra.)
The reading is the more difficult of the two. You have to read passages, come up with inferences of what could happen based on what you read, purpose of the writing, main idea, and predicting outcomes. The difficult thing is that it is timed, and the answers may all seem to be correct. You have to figure out which is the best answer, and stay within the time limit.
Overall, at least in my opinion, the NET is not that difficult. However, I recommend getting the NET Study Guide from Eriworld.com, Ebay, etc.
Good luck!

Hi, can someone tell me if the reading section includes written expression, like grammar stuff (capitalization, punctuation, etc.)? Thanks!!:)
No, it didn't. I have read online that some colleges have a essay portion, but I didn't on my exam.
It was only main idea, inference, purpose of the writing, and conclusions. It really digs deep to see if you can handle the critical thinking required by nursing school programs.
