Kaplan transitions exam for Lower Columbia Admission for LPN2RN

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Published

Hi all,

I applied for the LPN2RN online program through Lower Columbia College. I took the TEAS several months ago and did well. I am scheduled to take the Kaplan Transition exam next week. I'm just looking for some insight for those who have taken it. I've been studying often over the last couple of months trying to prepare, but I'm feeling quite nervous. Can anyone give me any idea of difficulty level? How did it compare to the Kaplan Q-Bank? This is the last step before *hopefully* getting into the program.

Thank in advance!!

Hi,

I am taking my Kaplan exam in a month for LCC too. I cannot seem to find any information on it. Do you know if there are select all that apply questions? Also, I am wondering how many questions the exam is.

Mona Lisa-

I believe many of the students who posted in this thread were accepted including myself!

I am planning on applying for LCC's LPN2RN program and was curious if it's pretty difficult to get accepted? Does anyone know if a lot of people apply to the program? Trying to figure our my chances of getting accepted. Also, is the program pretty difficult for those who are currently in it?

Thanks!

Did you apply for this year or are you just looking into the program?

I plan to apply for next year. Just missed the application deadline ?

I was accepted last year and will graduate on August 27th. I believe there were 160 people who applied and they took 45. Acceptance into the program is based on your test scores. You have to be self motivated to succeed because it is online and the content covered is all reading. There are lots of tests and papers.

I was hoping it didn’t have many papers ? I feel it takes time away from more important learning.
Thank you for the info!
