Hi,Thanks for giving it a shot. I just posted above, the answer is 27 degrees Celcius. So, T1 - 273, must equal 27. I just don't know how to get it. How do you know how to rearrange?

Chemistry is a beautiful subject and I know this because I used to be a chemistry tutor for three years and loved it.

Hi They took Chem out of our pre req too but if you look closely at all the other pre reqs and the pre reqs for those classes you would find that Chemistry is a pre req to Micro which is a pre req for nursing.
On side note I am finding chemistry helpful, I used it in AP 101 I hear its used quite a lot in micro, and its just another practice for critical thinking following odd directions and figuring things out on your own.

I had a couple of questions that hopefully someone can answer. So Chem I and II is first year chemistry?? I was also wondering if all the schools for nursing in the states require you to take chem I, II. I am currently living in vancouver, canada and you don't need any chem except maybe grade 11 chem.
it will differe with each school. My school just dropped Chem as a pre req for the program but it is however a pre req for Microbiology which we need for the program. Also our Chemistry is a basic its one semester with a lab but not as intense as 101, 102. The BSN program I hope to transfer too wants two semesters college level chem.
It's so much harder to get into nursing programs in the states. In B.C. I can take whatever courses as long as they add up to 48 credits, oh but you need to have Anatomy and one semester of first year english. No micro or chem.
Thanks for answering my question.
hey do you know if chemistry helps out in the nursing program
Hey!! I am also taking Chemistry II this semester and I am terrified. I took Chemistry I two semesters ago and I am currently reviewing everything because I start class tomorrow. I am horrible at chemistry even though I try my hardest and I know that it is a terrible attitude to have, but Chemistry= #1 fear. I hope that I have the strength to go through with it and not give up. Good luck to everyone who is taking a a class that is challenging to you, whether it is chemistry or some other class.I saw a Bible verse in another forum and would like to share it to everyone.Philippians 4:13: I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me [i am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me; I am self-sufficient in Christ's sufficiency]. (NIV)(New Living Translation) For I can do everything with the help of Christ who gives me the strength I need
