Accidentally schedule the NA skills and written for separate days - is this going to be ba

Hi all,

Hope you are all well. I have an interesting question. I am taking my CNA skills exam tomorrow, and had scheduled my skills exam and written exam for different days. I originally was signed up for June 1 both skills and written but rescheduled skills for May 18 and written for May 23 when I saw the chance to test sooner in Greensboro. I re-scheduled the skills first, and the written wasn't available at the same location that day, I guess it was full, so I rescheduled that exam for Durham on the 23rd. When I reviewed with my CNA instructor she said I have to take both on the same day my first time. I looked back at the website and saw that it indeed says you MUST take both the same day the first time. However, I already registered and used my 1 reschedule so it looks like I'm taking them separately... My instructor said just to go and not say anything and see what happens, which is what I'm going to do. Has anyone else had this happen?

Thanks,

Jeremy

When I took my NA skills and written tests they were on separate days, about 2 weeks apart.

Idaho (where I got my certification) wouldn't let me schedule it for the same day because you need to take the skills test first, then the examiner will forward your results and clear you to take the written test.

I don't know what to say to you as any advice I do give many be inaccurate.

Thanks for the reply! I passed the skills and didn't mention the scheduling snafu and it went over without a hitch! Now just to take the written next week (in the bag obviously). Glad to know in Ohio things are similarly confusing.

Cheers
