Pre-Nursing @ GPC

Hi,

Just wondering who is applying to GPC for fall 2011 and how everyone is feeling. I just took the Teas V two weeks ago and they put a message on the board that they would contact us in 3weeks and until then not to call them. This wait is KILLING me! I am so nervous. Does anybody know people that have already been accepted into the program or is anybody currently in the program?

adorable42181, our paper says we have to take the Healthcare Provider CPR.

Your CPR course should be BLS for health care providers

The course must also be approved by the American Heart Association. So make sure of that. You can go to their website http://americanheart.org - and find a class that is closest to you.

I can't recall if anyone wears crocs. No one in my clinical group does. We all wear all white leather sneakers. I'm not sure if anyone in the other groups wear crocs. Most people seem to wear all white sneakers.

Heoconbubu most courses I see are one day and last about 3-4hours and cost anywhere between $35-55

$78.50 - But if you've lived in New York, its an additional $65

If you've lived or worked out of the country it can be hundreds more. One girl in class that lived in India paid almost $500

You should probably wait till orientation to get all the info but the company they used for us is Advantagestudents.com -
