Took the NCLEX-RN this morning. Got 75 questions, finished in 45 minutes and the computer shut off!! Walked out of the building in a daze, and called my mom crying sure I had failed. Did the PVT before driving, because I couldn't stop shaking. Held my breath and the pop up appeared! Sorta in a daze now and very relieved!
:yelclap: Congratulations:yelclap:, trust the PVT!!!!
Think of it like this, if you passed then there is no need to reschedule, if you didnt then you can go to the CC page to reschedule another NCLEX date...
If the computer can tell you your next question, as quickly as it does, based upon how you answer the previous questions, it can certainly relay that information to the pearson site....Just breathe and relax now, I know it will be hard to do until you get your license number!

Except in states that have a limit on the number of times you can test. The PVT has not been accurate, as has been evidenced by those who have reported the "I PASSED/FAILED!"...but did not.
So, no, I don't put much stock in it...not until Pearson Vue comes out and says they'll honor anything on their website that makes you think you passed or failed...but did not.
Congrats to you all! Just finished taking NCLEX, 75 questions, way to many SATA and 45 minutes out the door. Felt terrible, may drugs I had never heard of.
Checked the Pearson VUE website when I got to my car and it indicated that my test scores had been "successfully delivered." So, I did the Pearson VUE trick and got the good pop-up! We'll see what Oregon BON has to say in the next couple of days.
Congratulations again, can't wait to move forward with the learning!
I believe it 100%!! I took the test just yesterday and I have not been able to sleep ever since! My test shut off at 85 questions and I thought for sure that I failed because I had so many med questions with meds I never heard of, SATA questions and those are terrible. I checked this morning on pearsonvue and it still said my results weren't available so I saw this pvt everyone is talking about.. Tried it and I got the "good pop up" well I checked on the BON my name was up there with an ACTIVE as of 6/5/12 yayyy
So I took the NCLEX yesterday. 45 minutes to test 75 questions and like most of you felt in over my head the whole time. I used the PVT and received the "good" error message. Alabama does not participate in Quick Results but instead has its own online results tool, however, the tool requires a confirmation number. I've searched through every email and can't find a number referred to as a confirmation number. Anyone else from Alabama know where this number is location? Nursing Diagnosis: Disturbed thought pattern, related to anxiety, as evidenced by obsessively checking BON, Pearson Vue, and reading allnurses.com chat boards.
I LOVE the Nursing Diagnosis!!! I'm still waiting for my ATT...it's been almost a week and I am almost 'stalking' all of these sights!!! LOL Best of luck!!! Thanks for the chuckle!!!

Oh, I absolutely felt miserable leaving the testing center. I cried in my car. I cried on the way home. And somewhere along the way I managed to listen to the very same advice I just gave, given to my by my dear husband: what is the likelihood you sucked so very badly that you failed in the minimum number of questions--meaning it knew you couldn't ever hope to pass today? Or is it more likely you're freaking out but still could show you knew your stuff?
I couldn't breathe normally until I got the results, but still.....that advice makes very good sense :)
