Early Sat morning 6 young people from my town were seriously injured in an accident when a driver heading north bound on the southbound side of the highway.hit their suv head on..These young people are dear friends of my daughters..they've been close since middle school, they are now in their early 20s.
2 of the boys were severely injured..One was medflighted to MGH in Boston he has severe head injuries and is in the ICU...the other is at Boston Medical one girl also in critical condition....thank God one boy and a girl were treated and released...one other girl remains in the hospital with head and neck injuries....
This has affected our whole town its a big but small town...and we have had a rough year with many fatal accidents and 2 suicides of two 22 yo men..the last just this past July.
The kids in our town are close and this is devastating for them.
The wrong way driver died....I ask for prayers not only for the injured kids but also for the woman who was killed and left 3 children behind.

I pray that God will help all involved. May each person's guardian angel help him on the road to recovery, whether he is injured physically, or like the children, by the tragic loss of a loved one.
Thank you both

My best to the families of this very sad occurance, may they be blessed and find the way to cope and heal.
I am also from a very small town..and we had a rash of auto accidents and various odd accidents about two years ago..sounding very similar to your towns woes...I hope you all can band together and find solice in your togetherness during this tragic time...it helped us, hopefully it will help your town too...
Don't know if this will help, but my mayor said these words at the memorial two years ago, and it has never left me...kinda corny, but still very sweet and...well...helpful :). They planted an oak in their memory in the town park...
"This too will pass, but in passing it will leave marks that will never fully go away...but even the greatest of oaks get scars over time, yet continues to flourish each year...it just takes time and strength. Bless your hearts, and keep on being strong, and keep your community as together as the oaks limbs...and together...spring will come again and this "community tree" will be the most abundant of all in the memory of those we have lost." -- Mayor of my town during the memorial for three families lost in one month...
and it has flourished every year
