Prairie View Spring 2014 Applicants

Anyone else applying to Prairie View for Spring 2014 semester? How far are you in the process? Just wanted to make a thread for us to support each other along the way. Good luck to all the applicants!

Do the titer first... If you results shows that you are low then you need the vaccine. Because at the time I drop off my package I did not have the varicella vaccine just the titer, the person in charge told me to leave her a note saying that I was on the process of getting my varicella vaccine.

@ moneca, so did you get flu shot and varicella at same time...i mean in some days difference? Yes, orificenal i am thinking of dropping myself the package so that i can also ask them about the varicella shot.

No don't do the varicella and flu shot at the same time because they have not done a lot research about flu shots given it with other vaccines.

@ moneca, Thanks for your suggestion and yes i thought same too. @ orificenal1, I dropped my packet today but could not meet health co-ordinator cuz she was away and the lady in front desk told me to call or email her but if we are calling then it should be before 12. If you are taking shot then that's great but i have to wait for some more days. :(!!

I hope I'm okay.. I got the varicella shot one day after I got the flu shot.. :(

The nurse said I might not be able to get the varicella shot when I went but she went to ask a clinician, and they ended up giving it to me.

It's ok, the important thing is not to get them at the same time. You will be ok.
