Prairie View Spring 2014 Applicants

Published

Anyone else applying to Prairie View for Spring 2014 semester? How far are you in the process? Just wanted to make a thread for us to support each other along the way. Good luck to all the applicants!

itzkneemo, if I'm reading correctly the paper says you either have to complete 3 series of the hep b OR do the titer, it doesn’t matter when you did it. If you've completed the hep b vaccine series, don't worry about that titer.

Hey kosi, I thought the same thing that's why I got my mmr and varicella titers but not the hep b. Then I read it over and over and got unsure. Thanks for all the responses. I'll call today to make sure. :)

Hey EVERYONE..

I called and spoke to the immunization lady i forgot her name..

but she said REGARDLESS.. if you have your shots or not you HAVE TO GET THE TITERS..

She said that its the hosiptals that require this.

She said that sometimes even if you got the vaccine your body is not immnune to it thats why they do the titers.

so yes you still have to get ALL 3 TITERS.

Thanks cabetanco08!

Who went to the open House today?

I didn't moneca. Hope I had. I got my meningitis shot today for $4. A clinic in Baytown for uninsured students.

Thanks for replying back to me. I'm just now seeing this lol. I have another question do you think BCIS will count as the computer class we have to take?

please do anyone know where I can get Affordable individual Health Insurance?.

I don't have one either and confused which to get so may be i'll go with Academic health plans.

Sorry.., I don't know but refer to the paper they gave us for health insurance.

Your best bet would be to apply for the Obama care insurance. The lady from the school said t

hey would accept that as the application takes 2-3 weeks to get approved. That way you could save yourself some denero $$$.

Thank you for all your response.
