Peth blood test are becoming more common for monitoring along with urine etg, and they detect up to 100 different substances. Just a finger prick onto 3 spots, dried blood spots (DBS). There's no studies on this, but do blood donations, especially a Power Red donation help Peth detectability? Power Red donations let you donate 2 units of whole RBCs. Peth looks for molecules on RBCs.
Or would they just centrifuge the remaining RBCs and compare that with your H/H and the result would be the same?
The anecdotal experiences are all over the place. Many here have drank just 1 time and gotten hit with a Peth 7 days later and still positive.

The problem with this is the body takes a long time to get rid of that molecule that attaches to RBCs, allowing for longer detection of alcohol ingestion and possibly other illicit substances or medications.
Peth tests are becoming common now and are included in a finger prick blood test, as simple as a finger prick for measure blood glucose.
I don't drink anymore on monitoring, but this raised my curiosity about a Power Red Donation.
It's a pain to get through the monitoring years, not once you get out. I can't wait to end my monitoring period so I can do whatever I want again.
Thank you. I can't wait for mine to end either. It's a short term he'll right now

Yeah, most monitoring agencies are moving toward DBS, dried blood spot, test with just a finger prick. I'm not sure it's any cheaper, it might be the same price. It's just convenient because anyone can do it.
