I called my school ( Itawamba Community College- Fulton, MS) yesterday. I am #5 on the waiting list. I think I'll be in within 2 weeks. My best friend got bumped up from #28 two years ago and got in that fall. I don't think I'll have any problem getting in. There are so many people who apply for 2 or 3 different schools or majors, and get into nursing and another that they would rather go to. So, I don't think it will take too long to get in. I just hope I'm not wrong. They accepted 150 students. Surely 5 will turn it down for a different class or school. I hope, I hope, I hope. Anyway, I will let ya'll know when I get my acceptance letter.
Congrats to everyone who got accepted :balloons: .
Good luck to all still waiting.
hi cher,
i live in elk grove, about 10 mins south of downtown sacramento. class starts aug 15, 2005. i can't wait. i know how you feel, i really didn't expect to be accepted so soon. i had already prepared myself to have to apply at least 2 or 3 times. i figured i would apply to delta and sierra college next year too, but no need now!!!:) now i can really start to plan my life (the whole starting a family thing will have to wait 2 more years). i'll be 36 by the time i finish, so i'm ok with that.

I am beginning my ADN in the fall at Ivy Tech in Indianapolis! :Melody: No lottery here, it is all based on the number of points you have:
Math/Science 6=A 4=B 2=C
Others 3=A 2=B 1=C
NET Test 10-40 points (depending on score)
The top 80 students in points are in the program for the fall. This was my second year applying, I was shy by 1-2 points for the prior year. I am actually really glad though, my schedule will be much better now since I have finished all other classes. If I would have gotten in last year, I would be taking classes year 'round in order to finish.
Good Luck to All who made it (and those that are still waiting to hear!) :balloons:
