Hi, I wanted to create an updated thread for PORTAGE LEARNING as most are somewhat old, or sporifice-ish. Here can you please answer:
What classes you took?
How easy or hard were the courses?
Are you currently taking courses?
Are the exams proctored/webcam proctored/ or just web page locked by the software they use?
I' am currently in their Nutrition course and plan on taking the rest of my pre reqs there as the program I want to go to accepts them (they are regionally accredited).
PLEASE SHARE =]

I finished with a B in the course and I am about to start the A&P 1 course, I was just wondering from those that have taken this course how are the exams I am just wondering if they are done the same as the exams I took in statistics meaning the screen locks but it is not video"d and you got an hour to take them a couple of the test a little longer any feed back would be helpful. thanks in advance.
@vicki lewis how long did it take you to complete stats? I signed up and it’s literally my last prerequisites but I have no motivation to do it! Any tips?

@Chelsea Ituah I understand how that feels but you are down to the long stretch; don’t give up now. I found this video on STATS for portage I hope it helps you. I saved the vid because I am considering retaking STATS for the 4th time (made an A in it each time) but the last attempt is 6 years old and there is an expiration on these courses. ? I hate these expiration on the courses.
I am considering enrolling in Portage's class for A&P II. I am concerned about the amount of self-learning that is done through reading alone, especially for such a dense subject as A&P II. I really need a flexible and affordable option and it appears Portage would be the best fit for this, but I am unsure if it is the best fit for my learning style. I'm OK with some reading but I do better when exams and assessments are based on lectures or videos. Does anyone have any recent experience with taking A&P II at Portage and can speak to this? Thanks.

There's videos and reading. A module includes both so you can watch a video and also read along. I'm enrolled in A&P 1 now and I find it helpful. You learn at your own pace and they break it down simpler in the videos. But, A&P 2 comes with webcam recording now.

Thanks sooooooo soooo much! I am extremely grateful for any and all you have shared! I wish you the VERY best in your nursing program. Again, I can be of any assistance, please do not hesitate to ask me. I sent you an email so just ignore because I’m sure your time is very limited being that you are in nursing school ?
