Polk State College nursing Fall 2016

Hey guys! Just wondering if anyone is planning to apply to PSC's nursing program this fall (2016) and what TEAS score and GPA your applying with!;)

Can anyone tell me which number they use for the TEAS Score? I'm not sure how to determine what my actual score is. Is it the adjusted individual total score? Or the National Percentile Rank? I just took it on Friday, so I'm not sure how to determine my true score.

Ended up with the following prediction for points, does this sound right?

TEAS V: 94.7

GPA Points: 12.5

GPA Points (PR): 17.5

BA: 3

TOTAL: 127.7

Good luck all! The adviser told me the decisions would be mailed out in three weeks.

I hope so. The anticipation is killing me! I saw last year they got the letters on the 17th.

I emailed the nursing lady last Thursday and she told me they would be sent out the week of the 20th. I'm scared to ask her again honestly lol

Well, I mean they were fairly clear that it was going to be the 3rd or 4th week of June.

I understand waiting sucks (because I'm waiting too...), but those poor people are probably getting peppered with phone calls and emails.

Like I said, I get waiting sucks, but put yourself in the shoes of the poor receptionist who has 17 phone calls and 23 emails every day all asking "when will we find out?" It's probably all that poor person has been doing for a week.

We are just now barely getting to the cuff of the point when we were told we might find out.

i think we all just need to get a drink and relax for at least another week and a half before we start acting like crazies. Honestly, at that point, I'll gladly lead the crazy train.

Hi All,

I applied for the generic option. Polk wouldn't transfer my A&PII, only A&P I from Excelsior so I couldn't apply for Transition. My teas was only 70.7 :(. I heard from dept Admin Asst. that letters are being mailed out this week. Good Luck!
