Polk State College nursing Fall 2016

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hey guys! Just wondering if anyone is planning to apply to PSC's nursing program this fall (2016) and what TEAS score and GPA your applying with!;)

I got a 94 on the TEAS - The advisor I applied with said it was the highest TEAS score she'd ever seen...

I have a 3.7 overall GPA, and a 3.67 pre-req GPA.

I also have a bachelor's degree.

I believe I'm sitting on 134.85 points in the admissions process.

Dog-Lover:

I got the study manual and did the practice tests. They were similar questions to the actual test.

I think you might regret waiting until the last minute to take the test because you haven't left yourself any room to retake it if you don't like your score, because you need 30 days between each test.

Mr phil I don't think your scores are high enough.... lol jk. Awesome job you're for sure getting in.

Just turned my application in today. 85.3 on the TEAS and 3.62 GPA

Hello, I just applied to the nursing program today!

I have a 2.89 over all gpa

and a 3.00 program gpa

and I scored 83.3 on the TEAS .

I graduated in may with my AA from PSC

Navy status

I believe that adds up to 114.5 or so

What are your scores nikki1018?

I really hope that a score of 114.6 is good enough for the transition program. Good luck to everyone that applied so far. It is going to be a long few weeks.

The next few weeks will unfortunately crawl by. I turned in my app with 118 points. Unfortunately, I don't have a degree yet and the advisor informed me that she hasn't seen many get into the fall program without one. Good luck to everyone!! :)

Having a degree helps with extra points. An AA only adds two points on though. I mean it would help a lot to have one but I don't think it would matter all that much if your TEAS scores and GPA is high enough.

Already have a B.S.

3.20 overall

3.75 pre req

85.3 TEAS so that is what- 124.05 points I think

Can anyone tell me which number they use for the TEAS Score? I'm not sure how to determine what my actual score is. Is it the adjusted individual total score? Or the National Percentile Rank? I just took it on Friday, so I'm not sure how to determine my true score.
