Polk State College nursing Fall 2016

Hey guys! Just wondering if anyone is planning to apply to PSC's nursing program this fall (2016) and what TEAS score and GPA your applying with!;)

Does anyone know the estimate for how far down the alternate list for fall semesters ? I know for this spring semester they stopped at ten or eleven ? Is fall usually more or less ?

Don't be discouraged! I was accepted but totally shocked about it. I was turned down from another school so I expected the same news from Polk state. I have a 3.07 overall GPA, 2.8 pre-req and 80% on the teas. I do have my AA and experience in healthcare. But DO NOT GIVE UP! Make it happen.

I got in!! I applied to both the generic and transition program and got in both. I know it is going to be super tough and fast but I am going to go for the transition program. Anyone else get into transition?

Each semester is different. I know spring '15 they went up to alternate 20. My numbers were very comparable to someone that got accepted for the upcoming fall and I am #12 on the alternate list.

I got in the transition program. My coworker is telling me it's ridiculous. There is an option to fast track nursing 1-3 and change over to the generic and slow it down a bit.
