Hey guys! Just wondering if anyone is planning to apply to PSC's nursing program this fall (2016) and what TEAS score and GPA your applying with!
Hi everyone! I havent been to this website since I started the program in January... Congratulations to you all!! In case you need, here are some helpful tips that got me through the first semester:
1. Get organized. What ever you do, this is so important. A planner to write test dates, home work... whatever really. There is a lot of little things you can miss bc its not written down.
2. Prioritize. Set up in order of what you need to study for so youre not cramming. Cramming never works!
3. Dont let others psych you out. Only worry about your own grades. Some people love to boast about their high scores and will make you feel incompetent. Remember its a marathon not a race.
4. Get some "go to" people to study with and get to know Lyn Anderson the tutor. Shes awesome, especially with dosage
5. If you get a bad grade, dont let it pysch you out either! It happens! Use it as ammunition for the next test
6. Know that there is an end lol. Because sometimes it didnt feel that way. I had a count down on my phone till break :)
7. Enjoy the process! Nursing 1 professors are amazing and you will grow to love them!! Just be on time!! They frown upon being tardy :)
GOOD LUCK!!! YOU GOT IN!! YOU CAN DO IT!!
