Hello ? I wanted to start a thread for those applying to the fall 2020 ADN nursing program at Polk State College. I know the application period isnt open until May, but I was wondering if anyone on here was planning to apply and what your points are? Best of luck to everyone!

I doubt think you can find the specific score, you might have to e-mail an advisor for that. All you can do is look at the top of the Degree Audit on Passport and it should say Passing TEAS score.

Morning all, I am applying for the Generic option.

TEAS: 78 (I know I should re-take it)

Cum GPA: 3.6

PreReq: 3.36

Previous Bachelors Degree.

I think I am at 116 points, so I'm pretty nervous .

Based off what is on the site, I think we should receive a letter of acceptance or denial by mid-July

I think I am at 114 points. I have 2.89 overall GPA, 3.45 prereq, AA degree, and 81.3% on TEAS.

Does anyone know what the schedule is like? Also, I wish we could submit applications already LOL now that they moved it to June 15-30.

Has anyone noticed any recent changes to their degree audit (DA)? Last week my DA stated that I satisfied all area requirements except for core courses. This morning my DA shows that I have not. I have taken all of the pre-req courses, I passed all courses with either an A or B and all transcripts have been received by Polk. Is this happening to you guys too or should I contact the Transcript Team?

Just checked mine and it still looks like how yours did before. I would definitely check with someone to find out why yours has suddenly changed and whether that impacts your ability to apply.

also Has anyone else taken multiple courses that could satisfy the same requirement?
for example I’ve taken college algebra and statistics, but on my degree audit it’s showing the course with the lower grade. I just emailed asking about it but wondering if this has happened to anyone else? Obviously I would like the course with the higher grade to be used in calculating my prereq GPA.

They will use your stats grade if it is higher.

Has anyone experienced delay in transcript information being uploaded? I sent official transcript over 4 weeks ago; the transcript received tab does not indicate transcript was received by polk state college.
