Hello ? I wanted to start a thread for those applying to the fall 2020 ADN nursing program at Polk State College. I know the application period isnt open until May, but I was wondering if anyone on here was planning to apply and what your points are? Best of luck to everyone!
Regarding the hospital orientation, the powerPoint that (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) went over in orientation says all N1 students will have to do the Lakeland orientation. On the hospital orientation in canvas, it says all orientations are due Aug 1st. I emailed (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) regarding that and she said that message is only for N2, 3, and 4 students. She said N1 just has to do the Lakeland orientation, and im assuming, whichever clinical site we get and are informed of next week.
It is all kind of confusing. I would email her for clarification, but I did the Lakeland orientation last week just to be safe.

I did email her on Saturday but I haven’t heard back yet. Can you take a screenshot of the one that you did? So I can see the title of it

I would wait to pay until you’ve had your residency stuff figured out. The issue with mine was that I submitted my residency application to the Winter Haven and had to do a revision and it got submitted to the Lakeland campus. Once I got into contact with Financial Aid they told me I needed to talk with the Registrar’s office since they handle residency status. And tbh the payment plan isn’t even worth it, it’s half of the payment now and the other half on the 10th.
