Polk State College Fall 2020 Hopefuls

Hello ? I wanted to start a thread for those applying to the fall 2020 ADN nursing program at Polk State College. I know the application period isnt open until May, but I was wondering if anyone on here was planning to apply and what your points are? Best of luck to everyone!

(MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) sent an email re: clinical orientations. In the email she provided a link that will enroll you in the orientation modules in Canvas. So you will receive an email from the instructor responsible for supervising your clinicals.

Just received an email from (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME). She says if you received an email from (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) with the orientation link, go ahead and start working on the modules.

Has anyone received anything from (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) for clinical selection yet?

(MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) is for transition. I don't think Generic has received anything yet

If you scroll down in the course on canvas under modules all the way at the bottom is the Fall 2020 Foundations clinical request form along with the slides we went over in the virtual meeting. I'm not sure if we were supposed to submit the form thru canvas but that's what I did per the slides.

My classes are not showing on canvas yet

If you're generic I think you should have received an email with this attachment. It's not the actual classes but a course for hospital orientations that you have to opt into. Hopefully this attachment sends.

Have you called financial aid to make sure they have everything they need? Mine has already paid.
