PLU elmsn 2015

Published

Hey everyone! I know it's a little early, but I'm wondering if anyone is applying to the PLU elmsn program to start in 2015.

We could use this forum as a place to communicate and support each other through this process!

I am so ready to get things rolling. PLU is my first choice, so hoping this year is my year!

Wow! It's going to be hard to focus on anything else tomorrow. Thanks for letting us know. I hope folks will post as they receive their news! Good luck!

Anyone else losing their mind? I am almost regretting calling now because the radio silence is that much worse...

Yup, we are probably all in the same obsessive cycle of checking this forum and our e-mail every few seconds. Does anyone know how waitlisted folks find out their status? Snail mail or e-mail? May 25, what department did you call (nursing or graduate studies) when you asked where they were at with applications. Did it seem certain that they would send out their decisions either yesterday or today?

No idea how wait listed folks find out.

I called graduate admissions and the lady on the phone sounded pretty confident in her answer. It was something along the lines of...

"We are supposed to be receiving decisions from the College of Nursing today and could very well be sending out acceptances today depending on what time we receive the decisions, good luck!"

I don't want to call again, but if you decide to call please post on here what they say!

I might call once I'm out of work! I'll possibly call the nursing department just to switch it up :)

Called the nursing department...they said the letters will be going out in a few days. I didn't speak with any department head - just the general line. Hmmmmmm. Hope joy, if you do call please post and let us know what they said!

Thanks for calling any mouse. I guess I better get my butt of the couch, stop refreshing my email, and try and forget about it for a while.

WOW! I hope we hear back soon. This wait is killing me!

On another note, I am curious how you plan to pay for tuition and living costs if you are accepted into the program. I have figured I'd figure that out once/if I am accepted but wonder if you all might have more solidified strategies, especially since it sounds like we won't be able to work during the first 15 months.

Well I won't call if someone else just did! So sounds like they have the decisions set but maybe we won't get them until early next week??

Oh my god guys i got accepted! I've been accepted!

Congratulations! You must be over the moon!
