PLU elmsn 2015

Hey everyone! I know it's a little early, but I'm wondering if anyone is applying to the PLU elmsn program to start in 2015.

We could use this forum as a place to communicate and support each other through this process!

I am so ready to get things rolling. PLU is my first choice, so hoping this year is my year!

Did any of you other folks receive an acceptance? I wonder if they have been sending them out all day or just begun towards the end? Yikes. I hope I'm still in the running! I am really happy for you May 25 but I'm a total wreck now! :wacky:

Sorry guys, I should have given a little bit more detail before I signed off.

I got a call from graduate admissions letting me know I was accepted. It was around 4:30 so later in the day.

I have not received any email conformation, she told me most likely tomorrow I will receive an email with more information.

Therefore, no emails have gone out and I'm assuming because she called me later in the day maybe not everyone was contacted yet.

So don't give up hope yet!

I haven't received anything yet- I think there would be many more happy posts on here if any one else heard. Congratulations May25!! You were notified by email I am guessing??!

By phone call! No email yet. She said I should receive an email sometime tomorrow if not today!

By phone? Oh my gosh, you must have been freaking out! Hahaha, were you able to manage a response or were you too overwhelmed with emotion? Did you get any other juicy details?

I've been trying to convince myself that it will be okay either way but the truth is my heart is set on getting into this program. I truly believe one door closing means another is opening. It will just be really hard to keep that in mind if I'm rejected. Sheesh.

I assume you are right Hopejoy, there will probably be more acceptances tomorrow. Let's hope!

It's kind of a funny story how it happened... I've literally been obsessively checking my email and this forum all day. To the point of insanity. As I'm sure all you guys have been. My roommate came home and I told him about it and he told me to get out of the house and leave my phone. So I did, for maybe 45 minutes? And of course during that 45 minutes they call me!

I called back and she told me I was accepted and I started crying (haha) but I held the phone away from my face so I think I covered it pretty well. She asked if I had any questions and I basically told her I really had to process what she just told me and I'd be in contact later if I had any.

I'm mostly looking forward to getting the packet of information in the mail and coming up with questions from there.

I feel as though not everyone was notified. My call was later in the day and there's no way I can be the only person to post on allnurses.

Tomorrow will be a big day I think!

Hey, for anyone whose accepted if you guys wanted to get together for lunch or a drink or whatever I am so open to it! We will be spending quite a bit of time together coming up, it might be nice to celebrate before the craziness starts!

I got an acceptance phone call today too!! I'm super excited because I really want to be in a Master's Program. I would have done it, but going back for a second Bachelor's degree is/was not ideal. I have another interview this weekend for another program though, so we'll see what happens.

Congratulations! What time was your phone call? I'm trying to figure out if they are probably done sending out acceptances or if maybe there are more to go today

Getting really anxious! But it is only 9 there while its 12 here so it feels late in the day already. Has anyone else heard anything?

Well you are not alone in your anxiety. I woke up bright and early with PLU taking up 100% of my brain space! I haven't heard anything either. I hope that they are still making calls. I'll post if I hear anything. Best of luck to you.

I got my phone call around 2 PM PST yesterday.

Congratulations on your acceptance Lindsay! How exciting! Will you do anything nice to celebrate?

Thanks for letting us know when you were called. Is it possible that your name is Ashley Asterson? And May25th is Betsy Bluday? And they are calling folks in order of their name? Lol.

I'm just grasping at straws now. It's approaching midday and still no call/e-mail on my end.
