Mine got stolen a few months ago, (along with all my jewelry), and since then I've been making 'do' with my digital Ironman. I'm looking for a better watch with a sweeping second hand, and luminous markers, but of course I want the best value for the money. If you love your watch I'd like to know the details. Thank you!
Originally posted by LoribabbleI have a pendant watch that I pin to my jacket/top. I love it - it glows the dark, I don't have to worry about it - keeping it clean/dry etc with all the frequent handwashing and it frees my hands up. I bought it though the "nurses station" catalog and was about $30 I think....
How do you manage to remember to take your watch off before washing your uniform? So many of my fob watches have gone to a watery grave that way. One even fell off at work, landed in a linen skip and of course only the hospital laundry knows next what happened.

My wife (fiancee back then) Bought me an Armitron watch almost 2 years ago. It is very nice, doesn't glow, but has those glow-in-the dark dials. It has second hand, but also has a little digital watch on the botton half of the face that shows the date. I usually leave it set to display 2400 time while the hands show 12 hout time. Keeps me from getting confused. I like it a lot, haven't had any problems with it.
