Please Reply If You Love Your Watch.

Mine got stolen a few months ago, (along with all my jewelry), and since then I've been making 'do' with my digital Ironman. I'm looking for a better watch with a sweeping second hand, and luminous markers, but of course I want the best value for the money. If you love your watch I'd like to know the details. Thank you!

My wife (fiancee back then) Bought me an Armitron watch almost 2 years ago. It is very nice, doesn't glow, but has those glow-in-the dark dials. It has second hand, but also has a little digital watch on the botton half of the face that shows the date. I usually leave it set to display 2400 time while the hands show 12 hout time. Keeps me from getting confused. I like it a lot, haven't had any problems with it.

P.S. to my previous post. Although I wear my Swatches to school I have a 24-hour watch that I picked up thru AllHeart.com for clinical. It has a large dial face with the seconds hand for vitals...just a regular white watch that works wonderfully (so far!) :D

I have a pendant watch that I pin to my jacket/top. I love it - it glows the dark, I don't have to worry about it - keeping it clean/dry etc with all the frequent handwashing and it frees my hands up. I bought it though the "nurses station" catalog and was about $30 I think....

How do you manage to remember to take your watch off before washing your uniform? So many of my fob watches have gone to a watery grave that way. One even fell off at work, landed in a linen skip and of course only the hospital laundry knows next what happened.
