We're not on lockdown yet, but it might happen. One of the larger school districts is the county is on lockdown. The students are all safe, but there was a shooting nearby. Four people were found dead in their home (shot and stabbed).

The school is getting flooded with calls from parents.

We're still not on lockdown. No clue as to what is going on (if they've caught him yet). I'm worried about my coworkers who have schools in that region.

Update- According to the regional newspaper, all of the schools are off of lockdown but are being "cautious".

I still don't think they've caught the suspect.

Two parents, one teen, one toddler dead. The teen wasn't at my school, but was a student at the school of one of my coworkers.

One of the schools in my district was locked down this week because someone who lived nearby had taken his psychologist hostage at gunpoint in his home! Scary, scary stuff. It ended without bloodshed, thankfully.

So glad you and your school are safe, Aneroo. My prayers with the families and friends of the victims.
