I have taken the NCLEX PN twice and failed. I know the first time I took it I didn't study properly because I just studied questions and know rationales. The second time I took the nclex I did study the questions and the rationales and the exam stopped at 206 I failed again and I just knew I passed. I feel like really giving up but it something in me that keeps on fighting to take it for the third time. Can someone give me some really really good suggestions into how to study for this nclex. I have been using saunders the green book since nursing school and I also brought lacharity and nclex pn flash card book.
I need some good suggestions how to study for the nclex pn because It feels like im losing my fight to continue studying again for the third time. Thank you

i thought max is 205 for PN. but anyway, study your content, when i study a topic and understand it good, i find myself answering more questions right than wrong. i know that everyone is different, some ppl say they only did questions and they passed, but this is an individual thing. while we can take advice from here and books we all need to formulate a schedule and resources that will work for each one of us. i find that sitting in one place trying to do a 100 question at a time doesn't work for me. i easily get distracted, so i try to do 75 at a time then keep increasing, most important is doing some questions and reviewing why an answer is correct and wrong. also try to download Saunders 5th edition, its different from 4th, i finally found out what the difference is. Saunders 5th edition lets you category everything as far as what area you are working on. if you improving on Analyzing and application, you can divide your work like that and so forth. i have la charity pm me your email i will send it to you, i don't know if you have it, you did not mention it. here are some downloads. All the best

I used Saunders and ATI. The ATI was much harder. Saunders was very good but I think it's best to use another source. I think that it would be worth your while to invest in the online ATI Course or I have heard the Kaplan Online is very good. That way you get an instructor that will let you know when your ready. Best Wishes.

How long have you been out of nursing school?
Everyone studies differently but I noticed that you just seemed to focus on rational and questions. I would suggest taking Hurst which is an excellent content review. Seeing that you are doing questions, I didn't suggest Kaplan. Know your content, like Diana, when I know an area well, I tend to be albe to answer a question better or even if the question is not a straight forward content question because i know the content area well, I can figure out the answer.
So i would suggest that you focus on content, do inperson Hurst review as it will force you to attend, after review go over the videos again and re-read the paper fill in handouts, select a date for test again as this forces you to focus on studying, come up with a study plan and schedule and go for it. You can do it but u have to know content in addition to questions and rationale, at least for me.
