so as u all know (i been failing, failing, and failing). i posted a blog a while ago i am ready to test in a week and all i have been focusing is about kaplan! i'm not gonna lie i have been confident in a way maybe too confident b/c kaplan says the strategies do work and the passing score is guarantee. it also said that if u obtain a 65% on your practice quizes you will pass and if you dont keep going back to the questions until u do and you will ge tit. the truth is as of right now i have reviewed all 1,000 questions some make sense and others i still need practice. but i feel confident i have done nothing but kaplan so maybe idk. what do u guys think (u guys that done the kaplan for nclex-pn) do u feel kaplan q-bank 1000 questions really did helped you?. i mean it refreshes my memory i guess i want feedback please i beg you guys. i test in a week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

if u guys (anybody reading this) have study kaplan to pass the nclex-pn please give me advice. and i would strongly appreciate it i would also want to please ask all the people that have been in my shoes please tell me. if u also like me taken this test nclex-pn various times and then passed. this is a very important question: why do u think u didnt pass the previous times u took the test? please i would appreciate any feedback!

Sometimes the hospitals in your region offer NCLEX tutors. I know the hospital I work for tutors the people they have already agreed to hire if they didn't pass the NCLEX.

here in ontario canada. If you fail the board exam 3 times (Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Examination -RPN or Canadian Registered Nurse Examination) you have to redo the whole program.

This is how it should be in America, too.

if you have taken the kaplan review you should be ok. i failed the nclex test the first time and took kaplan review and passed! if you answered a 1000 questions i believe you should be ok. i will be praying for you. i once worked for a nurse manager who had failed the nclex-rn 5 times also, so don't give up hope. don't study the night before, rest and relax and get some good sleep, so that you will not be nervous. it would have been good to see your doctor for maybe an anti-anxiety medication, but since you are taking the test in a week it probably will not be effective that quick but see your physican.:yeah: take care

This would be a good discussion...for another thread.

To the OP good luck! My school pushed HESI throughout the program and we had an exit exam so we basically weren't allowed to graduate until we proved we were ready to pass the NCLEX. One thing I made sure to do when I was taking the NCLEX was to breathe, read the questions carefully, and force myself to go slowly and methodically but not too slow.

i am so happy to hear you guys replied thank you!!!

geocachingrn: thanks, so u said nobody has failed w/kaplan imean i taken the test i kno how it is but do u think being too confident this time can be bad?

rkitty198: thanks for the support it really motivates me!

tinyhineyrn: wow u dont know how happy i am to read that kaplan has worked for many people. i been studying and all i can do is pray and read the questions as a nurse and take it back to the basics, asses 1st, nursing role, priority thanks

if u guys have more advice please feel free to let me kno!

Hi there, my school didnt let us exit without passing hesi too. Do you think hesi is similar to nclex? what score did your school require you to pass with?

We had to get a 950 or an 87%, which was 100 points above what HESI considers an acceptable score. I thought the NCLEX seemed different butour school's pass rate is in the high 90's because of the exit exam.
